The company is a leading financial solutions provider for home improvements and offers ECO carbon funding and green deal finance to the installer network.

About the Role

They are looking for a passionate and motivated person to join the business as a Business Development Manager. You will be responsible for building relationships with clients, managing sales opportunities and generating new business opportunities in the market.

This role is a B2B facing role, in which you will play an integral part in promoting company’s financial services and signing companies up.

Key Responsibilities:


  • To call potential new clients and build relationships to convert to sales
  • Follow up with potential clients on leads generated from marketing activity
  • Ensure that company is not increasing its risk potential
  • Collate relevant documentation to complete the sale
  • Maintain and update CRM system
  • Produce weekly performance reports
  • Deal with incoming customer service calls

Skills & Experience & Qualities:


  • Previous experience in a similar role, ideally 2 years
  • Excellent sales, communication, negotiating and influencing skills
  • Proven excellent customer service skills with a commitment to providing the best possible standard of customer service
  • Ability to make decisions and manage risk
  • Strong presentation, organisational and prioritisation skills
  • Ability to meet sales targets
  • An outstanding attitude and passion for sales and customer service
  • An enthusiastic and team orientated personality that offers help and support to others with ability to take direction and assist their colleagues when necessary
  • Thorough knowledge of computer applications (MS Office, Drive, CRMS)

Hours of work: Monday- Friday, 9.00-5.30

Salary: £18k- £21k basic + uncapped commission with OTE of up to £35,000
