Assistant Coordinator

Yorkshire Sheeting & Insulation Services Limited are a national contractor, specialising in the design, supply & installation of roof & wall cladding within the Industrial and Distribution Sector for over 50 years.

We are currently seeking an Assistant Coordinator to expand our contracts coordination team at our office based in York.

The key responsibilities of the position will include;

  • Preparing Drawing Office and Health and Safety packages for issue to site.
  • Reconciling order acknowledgements with material orders.
  • Scheduling and ordering plant and materials.
  • Liaising with contract site management personnel and supply chain.
  • Dynamically reacting to and resolving operational issues on site.
  • Collating contract records and controlled documents returned from site and placing in completed contract file for archiving.

The successful candidate will need;

  • Experience in working with computers, particularly Microsoft Office and Outlook.
  • Good communication and team-building skills.
  • Attention to detail
  • A methodical and organised approach to work
  • The ability to prioritise workload
  • A strong team ethos

Full in-house training can be provided

Remuneration package:

An attractive salary (minimum £20k) appropriate to previous experience and qualifications will be offered.
