Registered Nursing Home Manager

An outstanding new job opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Registered Nursing Home Manager to work in an exceptional nursing home based in the Yardley, Birmingham area.

This nursing home specialises in providing individualised residential and nursing care that supports residents with their personal needs


*You MUST be qualified as a Registered General Nurse with a valid NMC Pin



As the Home Manager your key responsibilities include:

  • Promote the interests of our residents and ensure a person-centered service is always provided

  • Communicate effectively, with residents, their families and representatives, staff and all other health and social care professionals to deliver the best possible care

  • Ensure you are a source of support and guidance for all the workers in the home

  • Cultivate good working relationships with all your stakeholders in the company and actively work in a collaboratory way with them

  • Work alongside your customer relations manager/ advisor to achieve maximum occupancy

  • Ensure that general cost control and staff costs are within budget

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:

  • Be no stranger to a busy, challenging Care Home Management role with at least 4 years' experience as a Registered Care Home Manager with CQC

  • Have a Valid NMC Pin

  • Have a proven track record in management and delivery of high-quality care within a residential setting and financial management planning

  • Experience and knowledge of working in dementia care

  • Proven experience of managing a care team, encouraging, leading and motivating others

  • Strong understanding of safeguarding, compliance and care inspectorate

  • Passionate, driven, confident and resilient Leader

  • Have excellent communication skills with a natural ability to lead, motivate and inspire your team

  • Keen in developing yourself and others & able to build good relationships with the residents & their families

The successful Home Manager will receive an excellent salary of £60,000 per annum.

This exciting position is a Full Time role working through Day Shifts.
