Coventry University Students’ Union are an active and inclusive Union; delivering meaningful change for students across their experience, we are currently experiencing a period of rapid growth and have an exciting opportunity to recruit an enthusiastic and vibrant individual who will be actively involved in enhancing  the customer experience for our members ensuring that CUSU’s welcome desk, virtual presence and other operations are welcoming, courteous, efficient and proactive, based at our reception desk, located at the hub within the heart of the City.

This key role will supervise and train our casual student workers in their commitment to deliver excellent customer service, as well as support the wider business operations in delivering projects and being the first point of contact for enquiries in respect of all Union activities.

 You will be part of our growing Business Support team at CUSU, delivering integral service and support to the wider organisation.

You will have experience of working in a successful front of house/reception role or similar busy customer service environment, delivering excellent customer service face to face or online.

You will also be able to work with autonomy and use your own initiative, together with excellent communication skills.

This post is permanent, working full-time 37.5 hours per week.

A flexible approach to working hours is required.  Please note that as an organisation we are working towards an agile working model.  This will be discussed and agreed with the successful candidate.
