Senior Property Manager

Are you a Senior Property Manager with previous management experience within a social housing company?  Do you have the ambition to become a Head of Property?

As a Senior Property Manager you will be responsible for delivering end to end housing services including acquiring new tenants, processing tenancy applications, collecting rental income and ensuring that properties are well maintained and safe for clients.   This is a people facing role and requires someone with strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.

The Corbelo Group's new office is based in Rawtenstall at the end of the M66.  There are two gyms within a three- minute walk, multiple shops including M&S, TK Maxx, Aldi, Costa, Dominoes and a very decent pub where they go for the team drinks every Friday.  In addition, there are bars and restaurants within ten minutes walk away.

Key duties

  • Carry out general housing management activities to include lettings, rental reconciliation, estate management
  • Put in place and manage appropriate systems and processes for the effective management of the lettings process so that rental, service charges and other income is maximised.
  • Work collaboratively with maintenance teams to inform planned works programmes, fire risk assessments and other relevant actions
  • Work closely with maintenance teams to ensure any problems are addressed quickly
  • Manage the applications process for local housing allowances
  • Oversee the quarterly inspections programme
  • Promote the company as the landlord of choice through the development of relationships with customers and across the wider community.


  • Previous management experience in social housing and/or housing associations
  • Demonstrate good understanding of housing, neighbourhood management, housing law, universal credits welfare benefits and how this relates to the work of a Registered Provider
  • Fun and outgoing personality
  • Must be willing to be flexible, ‘hands on’ when required and work across teams to support colleagues as necessary
  • Excellent relationship building skills
  • Ability to organise and prioritise workload
  • Must have own transport


  • Car allowance and business fuel expenses covered for all business miles
  • 28 days’ holiday plus bank and public holidays as well as extra days off over the Christmas period.
