Trainee Stove Installer

Our client is Norfolks one-stop-fire-shop.  They cater for everything to do with fires – wood-burners, gas stoves, electric fires, multi-fuel stoves, barbeques, range cookers, fireplace mantels, fireside accessories, fuels, fireplace installations, and Calor Gas bottles.  They are proud to have a team of friendly and knowledgeable people who live for everything fire-based, and who’ll do anything for customers to keep them warm and happy.

As a Stove Installers Mate, you will be part of a small team installing solid fuel appliances, ensuring that the work carried out is neat, tidy and within the expectations of the company.  Your focus will be on delivering an outstanding customer experience through quality installations, with a high attention to detail and excellent finish and to work as a number two in a stove installation team.  You will have the attitude to want to learn and progress with the company with some longevity. 

Main Responsibilities:


  • Part of an installation team working with an installation engineer
  • Maintaining good appearance at all times, clean and tidy
  • Maintaining clean and tidy vehicles at all times
  • Keeping client’s properties clean and tidy at all times during the duration of the works
  • Maintaining the company’s quality standards and reputation
  • Using power tools and equipment to carry out the installation works
  • Maintaining the correct dress code at all times
  • Working safely on roofs and working at height
  • Using all PPE safety equipment offered to you by the company

Hours of work:


  • Monday – Friday 08.00 – 16.30
