Facilities Manager


Our client, a crucial part of NHS providing community healthcare services, are recruiting a facilities manager (Tenant Liaison Manager) to deliver high quality FM and space management services across a small number of healthcare centres focussed around, but not limited to, the Oxford area.

Properties range from small Primary Care Centres housing one or two GP practices to large community hospitals, which bring together a diverse range of community and primary healthcare services, alongside related local authority and voluntary sector service provisions.

The role works closely with the Property team to ensure the safe and efficient running of the sites whilst working closely with tenants to maximise client and tenant satisfaction and improve the utilisation of the building.

The Facilities Manager (actual job title Tenant Liaison Manager (TLM)) responsibilities are essentially twofold;


  • To manage/ ensure the delivery and quality of hard and soft facilities services to multiple sites
  • To liaise with the tenants (doctors/ dental surgeries, physio, prenatal and other community healthcare providers) to ensure the space/ buildings are utilized to the maximum benefit of the local community.

    Qualifications/Knowledge & Application:

    Essential -

    Minimum 2 years’ experience in Facilities Management and/or appropriate qualification in Site Management and/or Facilities Management (BIFM level 3 or above) above). 
    Health and safety training e.g.

    IOSH/NEBOSH. 

    Salary is £35,000 although there is some flexibility for candidates who already have NHS/ Healthcare sector experience.

    There is a full package and very good pension scheme.
