Barista – Colchester – FM Service Provider - £10.85 per hour

Exciting opportunity for a General Assistant to work for an established company situated in Colchester.

CBW are currently recruiting for a Barista.

The successful candidates will have a proven track record in this field.


Details/Hours:

• Monday to Friday  
• 08:30am to 15:30pm
• Contract type - Cover work
• Immediate start
• £10.85 per hour
• Enhanced DBS required

• Serve food and beverages to customers following prescribed methods of portioning, presentation and combinations in line with brand standards and answer questions about the products
• Perform basic food preparation and made to order services including hot & cold food services in line with Aramark brand standards
• Take payment and keep financial records as required
• Restock goods and ensure appropriate displays of merchandise
• Clean back of house areas, crockery and cutlery using equipment when trained to do so
• Clean and tidy counter, light equipment and public areas
• Report to line manager any feedback, complaints, suggestions, stock needs, breakages, faults or hazards identified during the course of the work
• Perform daily paper/computer work as assigned
• Keeps diligent records as required
• Follows food hygiene and safety procedures in line with health and safety requirements
• Undertake relevant training as required

• Have a proven track record in catering assistant within a commercial environment
• To work to a timescale as agreed with you and your Supervisor/Manager
• Ensure compliance with relevant health & safety practices
• To always act in a professional manner
• Be honest, reliable, and hard working
• Must be able to demonstrate good communication skills
• Be eligible to work in the UK
