Groundsman - FM Service Provider - Filton, Bristol - £21,200 per annum

Exciting opportunity for an experienced Grounds Operative to work for an established Facilities company on a unique site based in Filton, Bristol.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record as a Ground Operative and can start immediately.

Hours/details:

• Monday to Friday
• 6:00am to 15:00pm - Monday to Thursday  
• 6:00am to 12:00pm - Fridays 
• Contract type - Permanent 
• Immediate start
• Basic DBS 

• Conduct litter picking and road sweeping duties
• Undertake weed control as required by various means
• Carry out snow clearing duties and participate in shift/on-call arrangements if required by management
• Effective graffiti removal and application of graffiti resistant products
• Lawn care by means of hand tools and mechanically propelled gardening equipment
• Road and rainwater gully maintenance and clearance of leaves and debris
• Seasonal clearances of fallen leaves
• Ground clearance and recovery
• Move materials, stock and furniture as necessitated by department requirements
• Use relevant tools and equipment, drive company vehicles and machinery in a safe manner
• Assist trade staff in maintenance, repair and installation / new works
• Undertake specific tasks and duties as prescribed from time to time by the Maintenance Manager
• To comply with Company Policies and Procedures
• To fulfil Health & Safety responsibilities by adherence to the requirements of the Company's Health & Safety Policy Statement, Manual and Safe Systems of Work

• To work to a timescale as agreed with you and your Supervisor/Manager
• Ensure compliance with relevant health & safety practices

• Must be able to demonstrate good communication skills

• 2/3 years experience in relevant fields
