Operational Delivery Manager – Distributed Energy (Renewables)

Location: London office – Hybrid working available.

The Role

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the delivery of core business operations through the optimisation of technology, processes and data.

The successful candidate will unlock our growth potential by delivering efficient operational performance.

We are looking for an individual who will help work smarter and faster, both between functions within our business and externally with our channel partners.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily business operations to ensure teams and partners collaborate effectively to achieve key objectives.
  • Develop, streamline, and implement processes that boost efficiency, incorporating automation where possible
  • Collaborate with technology providers to deploy tools and systems aligned with our growth goals.
  • Seek out opportunities to enhance the user experience by simplifying digital interactions for both employees and partners.
  • Define and manage core business data to equip teams with valuable insights and analytics.
  • Facilitate integration across the business's technology platforms, such as linking CRM with Finance or Asset Management systems.
  • Set and track KPIs and performance indicators to drive continuous improvement.
  • Utilise tools like Excel, MS Dynamics, and BI dashboards to generate reports and deliver actionable insights.
  • Foster a culture of innovation by advocating for advanced technology solutions, including the adoption of AI tools.
  • Lead efforts in information security, data protection, and regulatory compliance, including adherence to GDPR.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in business operations, process improvement, systems delivery or related field
  • A practical, hands-on problem solver with a strong sense of ownership
  • Proven experience in operational delivery, business process improvement and workflow automation – ideally in a small or scale-up business
  • Track record of developing workflow tools or low-code platforms in a fast-paced environment
  • Data-literate, with experience of delivering a data strategy to improve decision-making
  • Ideally, experience of using Microsoft Dynamics CRM to build sales and/or project management capability
  • Entrepreneurial drive to work in a high-growth, fast-paced environment with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
