Mobile Mechanical Engineer

Mobile Mechanical Engineer - FM Service Provider - Government Buildings - Hampshire - Up to £43,000!

Exciting opportunity to work for an established FM service provider. CBW is currently recruiting for a Mobile Mechanical Engineer to be based on a government contract, to carry out maintenance within the Hampshire area.

The successful candidate will be a fully qualified Mechanical Maintenance Engineer with a proven track record in commercial building maintenance.

This engineer will be required to carry out M&E planned and reactive maintenance across 4-6 Government sites, to the company's set standard.

This opportunity would be well-suited to a Mobile Mechanical Engineer in a comparable role, who is motivated by career progression.

In return, the company offers a competitive salary of up to £43,000, with a potential route for further career progression.


Key duties & Responsibilities:

  • Monitor mechanical plant
  • Pumps, Motors, Seals, Bearings
  • Plumbing - Unblocking toilets, replacing taps, and washers
  • BMS System - Monitor (i.e.

    Hot & cold)
  • Carry out all aspects of M&E/Fabric maintenance
  • Maintain and update Logbooks
  • Working to Planned Preventive and Reactive maintenance regimes
  • Changing taps/washers 
  • Install and replace hot water cylinders, pipework, Boilers, Temperature check the repair and servicing of mechanical & electrical (M&E) equipment, PPM & reactive.
  • Managing priorities within contract constraints. 
  • Working within a multi-disciplinary team to achieve set goals. 
  • Participation in standby rota for emergency calls outside normal working hours.
  • Providing information for the pricing of M&E works where applicable, for minor projects and maintenance.
 

Package Details & Hours of Work:

  • Salary of £43,000
  • 24 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays 
  • Van + Fuel Card supplied 
  • 40 Hours Per week
  • Over Time available
  • 1 in 4 Call out

Requirements:

  • Qualified to City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2 or 3 (recognised trade qualification).
  • Qualified to work with Central heating, Water heaters, pipe work, Unvented hot water and HVAC systems
  • Electrical Knowledge 
  • Full clean driving license.
