Field Service Engineer - Pumps 24k+overtime+bonus UK

My Client is the UK service division of one of the worlds largest pump manufacturers.

In order to take advantage of the growth in service business they are looking to add engineers to their service team.



Working from their Leicestershire branch you will be expected to travel throughout the UK to undertake inspection, overhaul, maintenance, installation and commissioning on a wide range of centrifugal pumps and associated equipment.

The Role (covering the UK & Ireland)

Working from their Leicestershire branch you will be expected to travel throughout the UK to undertake inspection, overhaul, maintenance, installation and commissioning on a wide range of centrifugal pumps and associated equipment

Strip & overhaul of Rotary Equipment & Valves.
Completion of accurate Reporting
Troubleshooting & problem solving ‘on site’
Installation and alignment of mechanical equipment.
Reduce / Minimize rework by maintaining high stds of workmanship.


Liaison with clients at site and enhancing RES reputation.


Liaison with Field Services co-ordinator.
Undertake 'workshop services' if required.
Provide 'out of hours' works cover.


Working within company policies & standards.


Working within H & S guidelines
Oversee any relevant trainee or sub contractor activities.


Other duties that the company may reasonably require.

Requirements

Completed an engineering apprenticeship
Pump knowledge and experience essential
Strong customer focus skills
Excellent Time keeping, flexible and reliable
Driving Licence.


Interpersonal skills – team player.





Package

Would be finalised Dependant on experience,
(Basic circa 23k to 24k)
Overtime earning potential circa 10k
