Trainee Health & Social Care Assessor - Halifax

A leading national Training Provider is looking to grow their team in Halifax and is searching for an trainee Assessor in Health & Social Care to assess Apprenticeship frameworks across the region.

This rewarding role will allow you to draw on your experience of the Health & Social Care industry to provide professional assessment and support to learners in their workplaces, enabling them to realise their career potential.



Your responsibilities will include:

- Visiting and assessing learners in the workplace
- Maintaining documentation on learners' records
- Liaising with Learners, Verifiers and Management
- Creating learner portfolios to agreed standards

This role will suit an excellent communicator who has experience of the Health & Social Care industry, ideally from a residential care setting to management level and is looking to work with and support learners.



This vacancy is only open to unqualified candidates, as the the provider will support and train you to gain your TAQA Level 3 Assessor Award.

In return you will be offered:

- a starting salary of £18,000pa
- business mileage @ 40p per mile

- bonus scheme of £100 payable per completion of each learner
