Key electronics company seeks a Field Sales Engineer with a technical sales background and technical knowledge of: Radar technology and/ or Electro-Optic systems.
Significant sales experience within Military or Security industry is of equal value.
Requirements:
- Demonstrable Sales/ Customer Support experience from the Electronics industry
- Self starter experienced in Field Sales/ Design-in activities
- Knowledge of multi-sensor security systems: radars, cameras, thermal imagers, communication systems, command and control stations
- Military, Defence, Security market knowledge is beneficial
- Excellent spoken and written English, another foreign language is advantageous
- Strong commercial awareness and presentation skills
- EU/ UK passport with a willingness to travel within UK and abroad
- UK driving licence including category C1 vehicles
Responsibilities:
- Manage and expand Customer Accounts to achieve sales targets
- Work well with Technical, Sales, Product Management and Marketing staff
- Negotiate, implement and manage contracts/ technical proposals/ white papers and analysis within key accounts
- Support all related strategic, marketing, pricing and advertising functions
- Provide technical training to customers/ engineers when required
