We are currently looking for a Locum Senior Occupational Health Advisor to work for a leading defence contractor based in Portsmouth.

We are currently looking for a Locum Senior Occupational Health Advisor to work for a leading defence contractor based in Portsmouth.

The role encompasses all aspects of Occupational Health practice.

Reporting directly to the Occupational Health Manager you will be responsible for your own case load with an emphasis on attendance management referrals and , modifications reports, with workplace risk assessments, health surveillance and fitness assessments, and some immediate advice regarding workplace injury or illness You will be expected to support managers and work closely with Human Resources and Safety giving robust evidence based occupational health advice.

Skills
Qualified Occupational Health Nurse Practitioner with a recognised degree/diploma in Occupational Health.


Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to work flexibly within a multidisciplinary team.
Experience in performing Lung Function Assessments, Audiometry and Hand Arm Vibration Assessments.
