CNC Machinist Setter/Operator

CNC Machinist /Setter/Operator Job in Herefordshire

We’re looking for an experienced CNC Setter Operator ideally with Fanuc Controls experience although Heidenhain or Siemens will also be considered.



With the ability to programme for new jobs and run first offs you will ideally have experience of Multi Axis Milling and/or Turning.

Machines being used are Doosan and Hurco 4 Axis Mills and Twin Spindle Lathes working with Alloy Bronze, a variety of Stainless and Carbon Steels, Super Duplex and hard Alloys for the Offshore Oil and Gas Industry.



With small batch runs from 10 – 30 this is all close tolerance work +/- 1 thou

The hours are 39 per week from 0700 – 1630 and 12:00 on a Friday.

Salary - this is negotable depending on experince but will be around the £11 - £12 p/h mark ideally

The company is based in Hereford and is 20 mins from Ledbury, Ross and Leominster, And 30 mins from Monmouth, Malvern, Newent, Abergavenny and Brecon.
