Leading Software company seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Analyst to be ‘hands on’ and lead a dedicated team responsible for developing, testing and delivering a high end point of sale retail system to external customers.

Leading Software and Services company seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Analyst to be ‘hands on’ and lead a dedicated team responsible for developing, testing and delivering a high end point of sale retail system to external customers.

This is primarily a manual testing/QA position therefore excellent experience working with business applications and testing commercial software applications is essential.

As time goes on the role will develop into a QA/Business Analysis position where you will be involved in the full project lifecycle and spend time with the clients understanding their requirements prior to creating documentation and test plans.

The QA/Tester will be responsible for:

• Requirements gathering, producing documents and test plans, setting up data manually and executing manual test conditions
• Quality Assurance (QA) of the retail systems developed
• Leading all PoS projects and creating and maintaining schedules for the team
• Ensuring the product is fully documented and is able to be supported by the rest of the company.

Applicants for this QA/Tester position MUST have:
• Solid experience manually testing commercial software applications
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Experience gathering requirements and producing documents and test plans

The ideal Applicant will have:
• Point of Sale (PoS) or retail industry experience
• ISEB Certification
