Web Developer

Leading International Consultancy seeking an experienced Web Developer to develop and support a web-based CMS system and Intranet.

In return you will be rewarded with a basic salary of £35-38K (dependant on experience) along with significant additional benefits.

You will play a major role in converting the existing CMS web platform from classic asp to .NET using the Umbraco content management system and will be involved in the planning and design phase of this project.

You must have strong communication skills and a proactive, organised approach with the ability to meet deadlines.

The Web Developer (C#) must have:

• Significant and proven development experience using C# and .NET (3.0+) as well as experience with Classic ASP
• Database programming skills in MySQL or SQL
• Experience with HTML/CSS and JavaScript

The Web Developer (C#) will ideally have:

• An awareness of designing/developing for usability
• Experience using and extending the Umbraco Content Management System
• Experience using and deploying web services


Technical Skills Required:
ASP.NET, ASP, C#, XML, XSLT, SQL, HTML, JavaScript and CSS
