Inventory Planner

Inventory Analyst required to join the Supply Chain function of a FMCG organisation to be based in the Basildon area of Essex.

Salary up to £26K with benefits

The role of Supply Chain Inventory Analyst is based within the European division of a global FMCG organisation who are enjoying year on year sales increases offering excellent career prospects for the successful applicant.

Based within a small but growing team and located within a broader supply chain and logistics environment you will work with a wide range of stakeholders to ensure customers orders are satisfied on time and in full

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Identify Demand and Forecasting exceptions in a proactive manner to minimise stock outs and maximise top selling lines availability
Product planning across a range of FMCG categories
Oracle MRP systems manipulation
Work with domestic and international colleagues to build and develop relationships across the end to end supply chain and broader business
Inventory sales planning
Stock reporting for slow, obsolete and excess lines
Warehouse inventory level reporting

Who we are looking for

Ideally will be educated to degree level or hold a formal industry specific supply chain qualification
Excellent understanding of inventory and stock management principals
In addition you will have excellent supply chain knowledge
Ideally you will have existing FMCG career success or similar high volume low value sector expertise
Advanced Excel skills are essential
Applicants with Oracle MRP systems skills are an excellent match
