Finance Systems Support Developer required for leading, global Financial Services firm based in Southampton.

THE ROLE

Due to increased workload, this Financial Services firm, based in Southampton is looking to recruit a Finance Systems Support Developer to act as a Second Line Support to end users for issues relating to their Finance Systems.



This is an exciting opportunity for eager candidates looking to further their career with a leading financial services firm primarily as Second Line Support, but also with the opportunity to do some Development work too, to create Financial Management Information reports.

This is a great opportunity for candidates wishing to further a career within Management Information reporting.



Candidates should have a sound background working as a Finance Systems Second Line support with either JD Edwards Enterprise One or Hyperion Product Suite, but preferably both systems.



Candidates should have strong communication and interpersonal skills in this client facing role, coupled with strong technical skills and understanding of JD Edwards Enterprise One / Hyperion Planning.

Candidates willl liaise with various end users to help resolve day to day issues with their Finance Systems ( JD Edwards Enterprise One / Hyperion Planning / Hyperion EPM ).



Due to the geographic spread of this global firm, candidates will be providing Second Line Finance Systems Support to end users in offices located on the Continent - there will be an element of travel to some of these offices in Europe too.



Candidates will not only be providing Second Line Support, but will also have the opportunity to take on development responsibilities too creating financial reports.



This position as a Finance Systems Support Analyst is based in Southampton.



EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
For this position as a Finance Systems Support Analyst, candidates should have the following experience:

• JD Edwards Enterprise One systems support -sound experience
• Strong understanding or experience working and supporting the Hyperion Product Suite – Hyperion Planning , Hyperion Financial Management ( HFM )
• Previous Finance or e-procurement Systems First Line Support experience - desirable
• Strong understanding and experience with Microsoft Access and Excel
• VBA or SQL Programming experience
• Experience with Business Objects or Oracle Financial Reports is highly advantageous.


SALARY:
The salary for this position as a Finance Systems Support Developer is:
From £25,000 - £35,000

This position is based in Southampton, but commutable from Portsmouth, Bournemouth, the Isle of Wight, Winchester and Newbury.
