Systems Engineers

Key skills: IP networking, Windows Server up to 2008, XP / Vista / 7, Active Directory, Exchange, Virtualisation, Secure systems background.

Security clearance will be required for this role.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen in Bristol for a Systems Engineer with experience of building and implementing systems at customer sites with follow up support, preferably with experience of government clients.

You will support a successful team focusing on the design, implementation, integration and support of secure systems to multiple sectors.



Responsibilities for this role include maintaining and troubleshooting existing systems at clients sites and investigating new technologies to implement in secure environments, contributing to the successful design, configuration and integration of solutions.

Required for this position:

* IP Networking / network configuration
* Experience in a systems implementation role
* Windows 2000 / 2003 / 2008
* Windows XP / Vista / 7
* Good grounding in a wide range of enterprise back office server applications and knowledge of server hardware
* Experience of working with large government department / enterprise systems
* You will posess good communication skills, report writing skills.


* Of benefit would be experience of virtualisation tools, messaging and Active Directory.



You will be required to travel for this position and must hold a full driving license.

The position covers the UK, with travel mainly between Bristol and London.



Desirable experience for the role include exposure to Project Management, network configuration, and a Secure systems background.

You must be a team player, self motivated and able to work with minimum supervision.
