In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high quality welding work to nuclear grade standards.
This will involve carrying out a range of welding processes on complex mechanical systems.
You will work in strict compliance with health, safety, and nuclear quality protocols.

Key Responsibilities
Perform high-integrity welds using TIG/MMAWeld pipe and plate in a variety of materials, including stainless steel, carbon steel, and duplex.Adhere to WPS (Welding Procedure Specifications) and ensure full compliance with nuclear safety and quality standards.Work from detailed technical drawings, isometrics, and welding maps.Participate in weld inspections, hydrostatic testing, and quality control processes.Follow nuclear site protocols, including contamination control, radiation protection, and clean area standards.Complete documentation in accordance with QA/QC procedures.Cooperate with inspection and engineering teams to resolve weld issues and non-conformances.Maintain a clean and safe working environment and promote a strong safety culture across the site.
Qualifications & ExperienceEssential:
Recognised welding apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 in Welding or equivalent.EN ISO 9606 coded Welding qualification.Experience welding to nuclear, petrochemical, or power generation standards.Ability to interpret complex technical drawings and WPSs.3+ years’ experience as a Welder in a similar sector.
Desirable:
