The Business Development Executive will be part of a dynamic, passionate team focused on coaching local business owners and leaders to grow their business, which in turn will improve the lives of the owners/directors, their families, and their employees.

The BDE will bring an in-depth experience of working within a fast-paced, target driven sales/telemarketing environment and have the skills to build and develop relationships with prospects.

Key Roles & Responsibilities: 


  • The BDE will be making 60-80 phone calls on sales-focused days with a view to generating leads and booking appointments for the business coach to meet with prospective clients – This will be 80% of the role
  • Attend networking events to secure prospective client meetings and build working relationships
  • Owning the sales pipeline process with cleansing of the database and managing the direct mailing of marketing material to prospective clients
  • Management of database and using CRM to record client information
  • Proactive awareness of business performance and growth targets as well as managing individual, team and company KPI’s
  • Manage own Social Media, such as LinkedIn in line with company guidance to build connections with local businesses and occasionally contributing to company’s Social Media presence
  • Self-plans their diary.

    Continually maintains their 90-day plans to achieve personal & team goals

Personal Skills, Experience & Characteristics: 


  • Proven experience within a sales/telemarketing role
  • Track record of success
  • Self-starter and performance driven with a passion for helping people grow
  • Well-organised, assertive team player, with a proactive attitude
  • Ability to operate effectively in a high-pressure, fast-paced and changing environment – alone or in a team
  • Passionate about helping people
  • Computer literate – MS Office suite
  • Highly effective at time management, organisational, communication and planning skills
  • Friendly, persuasive, and passionate conversationalist
  • Proactive problem solver and excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and rapport-building skills
  • Will follow a system, has big dreams and goals, decisive and disciplined, great to work with
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
  • Sets and achieves tough stretch goals, process and data driven
  • Extremely dynamic and adapts well to change to support a rapid-growth business
