Business Systems Manager

You will lead the ongoing support and maintenance of our core business systems for The Coal Authority, using your excellent communication skills to manage the expectations of senior stakeholders.
You will have the skills and confidence to ‘challenge the norm’ and spot improvements in our ways of working, and influence change that adds value to the business.
Using your planning and attention to detail to ensure that all activity is delivered with a ‘right first time, on time’ mentality.
Above all you’ll have excellent communications and engagement skills, with experience of planning and implementing projects to deliver corporate objectives!

About The Role
You’ll be part of the wider Business Planning, Systems, Risk and Governance team – we’re a phenomenal team that works hard, has fun and celebrates our success.
You will take the lead on a number of key initiative and change activities across our core back office business systems for The Coal Authority, ensuring they remain resilient and fit for purpose.
You’ll play a key role in our overall business systems strategy, managing current contracts and relationships, alongside supporting the change management activity across the organisation.
You’ll manage the current portfolio of systems, ensuring that all platforms are operating efficiently and effectively.
Role location: Mansfield/Hybrid
