Install Electrician

CBW Staffing Solutions are seeking a skilled Installation Electrician to join our building services client’s team on a permanent basis.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical installations across commercial and industrial settings.

You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and upgrading electrical systems to meet project specifications and client requirements.

Package:

• Competitive salary between £38,000 - £40,000 per annum (depending on experience)
• Van & fuel card supplied
• Core hours are Monday - Friday (40 hours per week)

• Conduct installations of electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, power distribution, and control systems, according to project plans and blueprints
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely completion of installations within budget and quality standards
• Perform electrical testing and commissioning to verify the functionality and safety of installed systems
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and implement effective solutions to ensure optimal performance
• Adhere to electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards throughout the installation process
• Maintain accurate records of installations, including materials used, labour hours, and project documentation
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior electricians and apprentices as needed

• The successful candidate must hold a City & Guilds NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
• Qualified to the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations, Electrical Inspection & Testing 2391 and AM2 or equivalent
• Proven experience as an Installation Electrician or similar role within the building services industry
• Full UK driving licence
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and circuitry
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing electrical faults
• Familiarity with electrical codes and regulations
• Ability to read technical diagrams and blueprints
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities
