Are you passionate about the delivery of sustainable procurement? Do you want to be able to influence the achievement of sustainable procurement outcomes?  If yes, we have an exciting role as part of our expanding team to develop and embed how we deliver our new sustainability plan and objectives within our procurements opportunities. 
This provides an opportunity to work with a wide variety of stakeholders.  So you will be a great communicator who is able to listen, interpret the needs of the business whilst being able to influence to achieve the right sustainable and commercial outcomes using your experience.
You’ll be preferably CIPS qualified or progressing towards its achievement (we can support you on this).  Having significant experience within sustainable procurement including tackling modern slavery through supply chains and being able to ensure social value sits at the heart of the services we deliver.
The role gives a great opportunity to embed sustainability within our contracts and help to make a better future for people and the environment in mining areas. 
You will need to self-sufficient and importantly be able to work as part of a supportive Procurement team and to be able to inspire team members.
  

About The Role
Our new business plan has ensure sustainability as a core objective to be at the heart of our activities. 
Use your expertise to provide sustainable procurement advice to colleagues across the organisation and to make a difference by improving both the organisations and the team’s understanding, capability and maturity on sustainable procurement.
Our purpose is to be ‘a professional and trusted business partner that is engaged with the business to drive the right sustainable outcomes through proportional processes.  Ensuring value is driven throughout the commercial lifecycle.’
