Warehouse / Yard Operative

Location: Waltham Abbey – EN9

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday 08:00-16:00  (37.5 hours per week, 30 mins unpaid break) 

Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour

Contract Type:  Permanent  Contract

Start Date: Immediate

Centric Talent is seeking a Yard Operative to join our client’s team at their esteemed warehouse in Waltham Abbey.

Our client stands as one of the foremost suppliers of bathroom, kitchen, and plumbing products in the UK, serving retailers nationwide and they are on the lookout for dynamic, motivated, and flexible Yard Operative to support their warehousing facility.  

Reporting to the warehouse manager, this is a key role that will involve being responsible for keeping the Yard presentable at all times. 

Requirements for Success:  FLT Counterbalance license is essential for this role. 

Key Responsibilities:

As a Yard Operative for this esteemed client, your duties will include:

• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organization throughout the warehouse
• Ensure all internal and external yard areas are kept clear of rubbish, debris, and potential hazards.
• Dispose of waste and recycling materials properly.
• Regularly sweep and clean aisles, workstations, and storage area

• Experience as a Yard Operative or Hygiene Operative or similar would be advantagous 
• Forklift license esential 
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
• Proficient numeracy and literacy skills.
• Strong communication skilles
