Service Manager

About The Role
Imagine this…
You walk into a place where young people feel safe and heard.

A place where they’re encouraged to be aspirational, to build confidence, and to take steps towards independence.

You’re at the heart of it — leading a team who believes in every young person’s potential.
That’s what being a Service Manager at West Farm is all about.
The opportunity
We’re opening a new supported housing service in Weymouth, Dorset, and we’re looking for someone who can bring vision, energy and compassion.

Someone who wants more than a “management job” — someone who wants to help change lives.
At West Farm, you’ll be leading a team who walk alongside young people who have experienced, or are at risk of, homelessness.

You’ll create an environment where they feel safe, respected and empowered to grow their skills and discover their strengths.
What you’ll be doing
• Inspiring and supporting your team to bring out the best in young people.
• Building a culture of trust, respect and empowerment.
• Linking young people with community partners, opportunities and resources that open new doors.
• Embedding trauma-informed and strength-based approaches in everything we do.

About The Candidate
What we’re looking for
You don’t just manage — you inspire.

You’re the kind of person who brings energy into the room, who listens deeply, and who isn’t afraid to think creatively when challenges come up.
You’ll likely have experience of supporting young people or those affected by homelessness and trauma.

You’ll understand that resilience and empathy go hand in hand.

Most importantly, you’ll believe in people — even when they’re struggling to believe in themselves.
