Electrical Shift Maintenance Engineer – Moorgate, London – £55,000 + Benefits Location: Moorgate, Central London
Shift Pattern: 4 days on (7.00am-19.00pm), 4 off - 4 nights (19.00pm-7.00am), 4 off 
Salary: Up to £55,000 per annum + Package

This is an excellent opportunity to join a professional, high-performing engineering team where you’ll be responsible for both planned and reactive maintenance, ensuring business continuity at a modern, high-spec facility.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive electrical repairs across the site.
  
  
• Fault-finding, diagnosing, and repairing a wide range of systems including:
  
  
  • HV/LV distribution
    
    
  • UPS systems & backup generators
    
    
  • Lighting, emergency lighting & small power
    
    
  • Electrical panels and control systems
    
    
• Monitoring & responding to BMS alarms, ensuring safe and efficient operations.
  
  
• Ensuring all work is completed in line with health & safety and compliance standards.
  
  
• Supporting the wider engineering team, liaising with mechanical engineers, contractors, and site management.
  
  
• Keeping accurate and detailed maintenance records.
  
  

• Recognised electrical qualifications (NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds 2365, 2330, 18th Edition).
  
  
• Experience in a commercial building services or critical environment (banking, data centres, hospitals, corporate sites).
  
  
• Strong working knowledge of UPS, generators, and HV/LV systems.
  
  
• HV/LV Authorised Person status – desirable but not essential.
  
  
• A proactive, flexible engineer who takes ownership and works well in a team.
  
  

• Salary up to £55,000 per annum
