Maintenance Electrician

Maintenance Electrician – Central Belt – £40,000 

CBW Staffing Solutions have a new opportunity for a Mobile Electrician across the Central Belt with occasional travel across Scotland.

This full-time role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in renewable energy installations, including Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHPs), Electric Storage Heaters, and Mechanical Ventilation Systems.

Full training will be provided – including solar panel installation.

Role Responsibilities:

• Carry out domestic electrical installations with a focus on energy-efficient technologies.
  
  
• Ensure all installations meet compliance standards including PAS2035, ISO9001, Health & Safety, and industry regulations.
  
  
• Collaborate with office and site teams to coordinate resources, materials, and schedules.
  
  
• Participate in training and installations for renewable energy projects.
  
  
• Attend team meetings and toolbox talks as required.
  
  
• Travel for jobs as part of a structured rota, including occasional overnight stays.
  
  

• Fully qualified electrician (17th/18th Edition).
  
  
• Strong domestic installation experience.
  
  
• Willingness to travel and stay away from home when required.
  
  
• Strong communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
  
  
• Interest or background in renewables is highly desirable (training provided).
  
  

• £40,000 annual salary
  
  
• £50 overnight allowance + additional food expenses

• 28 days holiday (including bank holidays)
  
  
• Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
